Excited to hear about your new Old West story idea, and laughing at the thought of notes on a paper towel!

Hope your next day/night? at work is an improvement.

Thank you, my friend, work was better last night. I ran the tests again and everything worked - including me. I don't mind hard work I just hate turning out bad work. No one got upset or even shook their finger at me which left me to my own devices and that's sometimes worse, you know? No one can rag on you the way you do yourself.

The paper towels at work are useless. It's like trying to dry your hands on Time magazine. But as I've discovered they work quite nicely for notes. I actually drew lines through passages that didn't work and made other notes on the side. I edited a paper towel. Sheesh...

...but hope it's okay to comment, anyway. I just wanted to say how delighted I am to see these updates. It truly is inspiring to know other people are writing, to see the progress--even, for that matter, to be able to sympathise with stoppages (and lack of time, too much other stuff crowding in for attention, darn it, etc).

I'm fascinated with your story idea stemming from the photographs. Sounds very cool. Also noted down the books--thanks!--to see if I can find them in the library.

Why I Stopped: My excuse: I started another story.

And this! This! :g: So freaking familiar. I'm finding it both enlivening how writing more regularly is sparking new ideas for me and a little frustrating in that I'm not getting even short pieces finished in a more timely manner. But having a lot of ideas floating around is awfully nice. I hope you're finding it the same.

Please feel free to comment any time. I am so glad that my posts are having the same effect on you as yours do on me. Writing is such a solitary thing most of the time so it's great to find out how other authors find their way to the characters and where the characters take the authors ( ... )
