I desperately want to write for Shelter but whatever made it possible for me to write in days gone by is not on speaking terms with me now.  I'm trying not to take it personally and I'm trying not to freak out but dammit - c'mon!

Periodically I stand up and wave around a book called Dear Friends that features 19th century photographs of men in very affectionate poses. zekiel has pointed out a site for the book that shows some of those photos. dS, Stargate SG1 and Sentinel fans should check out nicci_mac's LJ.  She has some very lovely fan art and icons.  I wonder how hard it would be to get her interested in M7? 

I'm probably way behind everyone else but I just came across Joephillips.com which features some really great gay art by, well, Joe. Most of it is upbeat and bright but some of it is really touching. Joe says that he grew up looking for positive gay images but when he didn't find many he started creating his own. Sounds like a slash fan. ;) ( Read more... )
