short but scathing sarcasm competition <- one of Haymitch's favorite sports! XD

I liked getting to meet Bunita here too.

Digressing a bit, I've thought about this fic a lot while I've been writing. I start imagining various other victor loaning and District swapping scenarios...

In particular, because of what I've been writing, I imagined this would appeal to my 1st Games victor, Jack. So I'll let him address you?

Okay, that is officially the cutest thing ever. (also the closest anybody has ever gotten to make fan art for fic of mine, therefore awww! :D)

How about we give him a spot in Seven. If we go with the assumptions deathmallow is fond of and I too used on "Moss on the Ruins," there are only three victors there, one of them Johanna. And I postulated in MotR that one lives in the Capitol. So if Blight falls sick and Johanna needs a mentor during her Games, or just a mentoring partner... I'd like to see Jack interacting with Jo. ;)

I'm pleased that you were thinking about my fic! Go me! :D Thank you for the comment, too.

Aww, thank you~! (You never know! I draw many little things and you have a birthday coming up...!)

Oh, he'd definitely have liked Jo! There were a lot of later victors Jack would've liked had he lived to meet them. (wow, he would've been about 91 by the 75th Games though if he'd hung on that long!!)
(Jack: Seven, huh? Big trees, the cold north, yeah, I can do that. :D)

That seems to be one of the signs of a fic that really gets to me. Reading it makes me want to write and I may think about it while I'm writing!

You're welcome about the comment... I'm not the most comment-y person, but I know you appreciate them, so I try to come up with something (sometimes it comes easily, sometimes I just have to repeat my on-going "I like this" sentiment).

I feel like we've had this conversation about art before... if we did, please don't take this as me pushing. :D (eee, though, art!)

Off to Seven it is! :D

:)) Then I do appreciate your feedback doubly. And hey, "I like this" is always a very good reaction. :)
