A few weeks ago Mr M and I went to the Griffin Photography Museum in Winchester. We saw a very interesting exhibit on Photographs of Ellis Island. Haunting stuff. What did you think of the Griffin Museum?

Years ago, I was a reporter and wrote about efforts by Arthur Griffin to get the museum built. I talked with him and he gave me a book of his photography.

I hadn't thought about that at all until I saw your earlier post about going there.

It was a really neat little museum. It had 4 different exhibits when we visited, in a relatively small space. The building was built to look old, and they did a great job. The museum is located next to the Winchester commuter rail station, so it's accessible without a car, but it's in a nice low-key town with lots of green space.

oh yeah. it's a live album, and it's awesome. it has banter, and "son of a preacherman," and "angel of the morning," and some new songs. if you are any sort of fan (and it sounds like you are) you should definitely get it. it sounds like you've been having a tough time lately--this album would perk you right up. If you want, I can send you a track list.
