DWS4 Ep10 Review

I'll be entirely honest, the moment that had me most excited was the 'Romana reference' as it was entirely unexpected. And well, I'm me.

I think, to be sure what I think of it, I need to watch it again. I'm not sure about what I think about having 2 'invisible' monster episodes in a row - it feels like it needed something to break it up a bit.

As for ( Read more... )

David Tennant and Lesley Sharp were both fantastic in this episode...

I understand your disappointment about the list of names only being new who companions - but on the other hand, that list was quite long enough for both of them to rattle off !

I loved the fact that Ten got everyone talking after disabling the entertainment system - but it was a very bleak PoV of humanity once the "monster" arrived...

Ooh nice icon!

Yes, they were. It was a strong cast -- and needed to be for such a closed set.

True, that's why I am pleased that all the principle female leads got mentioned.

Hopefully the forthcoming weeks will give a more positive light on humanity to balance it out.

Thanks - it's by fizzlingwhizbee - I waited patiently for someone to do a nice one of that hug, and then they did a lovely animated one so I stole it !!

It was a strong cast. I'd love to see more of DeeDee and Jethro (I play "Spot the potential companion" with unknown guest actors these days, ever since they snagged Freema to play Martha after her "audition" as Adeola !)

I confess I bounced when he said "TARDIS" on the end of the names !

I'm not counting on the positive light in future weeks - they've been written by Rusty after all !

Hee! They were 2 I'd like to see more of too. But that's mainly in the hands of Steven Moffat, now.

That was a great touch. Afterall, the TARDIS is the Doctor's most faithful companion!

I'm counting on fanwanky (and not necessarily in a good way). And not much else.

I really liked this episode. I thought it was a weird cross between Leisure Hive and Scherzo (Eight/Charley audio - have you listened to it?)

What about Astrid Peth? She didn't get a mention!

I haven't heard Scherzo yet. I want to try and listen to Eight/Charley in order and it's going very, very slowly.

Hehe. Love it!

(I'm writing a ship thing for you for Dr/Romana -- it's nearly done.)

You deffinatly need to listen to Scherzo in order. I originally listened to Neverland/Zagreus/Scherzo before anything else, and Scherzo confused the hell out of me. Once you've listened to it, you might see where I am coming from with the weird cross over (or that could just be my weird mind)

Ohh thank you!!! *much love*
