I'll admit: Once in awhile I think farting is pretty damned hilarious. But not to the point to which bathroom humour has saturated Western cultural experience. I found out yesterday that I received a pass on my written qualifying examination that I took on Monday, April 10. I haven't received back comments yet, though.

I take the oral exam on May 8, after I get back from the conference in Kalamazoo.
