So, I spent Thanksgiving itself with my friend Mitch and his family, which was a fun time, if only saddened a bit by the fact that his Mom is in the hospital. She loved the Thanksgiving dinner we brought her though, and we visited for about an hour.

Sounds like you had fun though. :)

Oh, I also need to ask some you advice. Don't worry, it'll be right up your alley. I just told my local premier TO organizer that my friend and I would work the Guildpact prerelease for him so he could measure our candidacy. We know that we have to look through the Comp Rules, Tournaments Rules, and Floor Rules. Any advice/tips/tricks for Level 1 Certification that you'd like to share? ;)

Sure, make sure you've read the premier invitation policy and penalty guidlines as well, questions from both can be on the actual test. :)

Thanks for the heads up! Any particular type of questions I should be on the look out for? Will they ask what cards are standard legal or anything like that? Is the test multiple choice or written answer? I'm curious to know. :)

I can't tell you exactly what's on the test, but it is multiple formats, including multiple choice. You should be familiar with/know all the stuff we listed between the two of us, because the test can possibly cover all of those areas.

If you want a good example of the rules questions on the test, take the delphi level 1 test.
