What I Did This Weekend, By The trista

My long weekend included X-Men in the theater and several movies on DVD, a bike ride, a horrible allergy attack (Snot Level = Horrifically High), biscuits and gravy, lots of reading, some cashews, grocery shopping, a very soft stuffed cow with gigantic eyes OMGCUTE, turkey burgers with hummus and red onion, pretending to bond with Crazy Eddie when ( Read more... )

The humidity here is nothing compared to the humidity in Florida. Not that it's dry here, but I actually find myself missing Florida's humidity. In fact, when people ask me whether I miss Florida, my answer is "Just my family and my hair." It doesn't curl properly without all that moisture in the air. I don't think I'd know what to do with even less humidity. I can't wrap my brain around the concept. Srsly. Don't people just, like, drop from dehydration?

Notice I only sent one? It's all I can spare. ;)

So, yeah. It's like a scale. On one side we have OMGHOT and on the other we have EWPASTYLEGS. OMGHOT has begun to outweigh EWPASTYLEGS. I feel sorry for the Minnesotites. I considered letting a Ray of the Evil Day Star touch me, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I should probably hire someone to walk along ahead of me and hand out sunglasses to those who might glance toward my legs, though.

Ack! Not the Rays! Actually, I'd probably be all about The Evil Day Star if I didn't burn-peel-freckle. Yurg. It's such a horrible look from start to finish. I'm envious of people who actually tan and who look nice when it happens.

Dearest The trista,
I am avoiding your comments section so as not to spoil my X-Men viewing experience. :P

Sincerely yours,
