Sometimes I am bossy. You might not have noticed that, though. ;)

You're an authoritative source of wisdom. I think that's what we should call it.

I don't think that these books are quite my cup of tea, but I love the idea of a big series of big books that I love. That would be awesome.

Reading is gooood.

Ooh, that sounds much nicer than bossy. I'm going to stick with this one. :)

These books fill me with joy because they are my cup of tea, they're brilliantly written, the story fascinates me and actually moves along, and there have to be several more books coming to complete the series so I've got a lot to look forward to. It's a beautiful thing!

The George R. R. Martin fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. It hurts my heart that so many of The FriendBots haven't read them. You have no idea what a wonderful series your missing!

You did not just say that. There is no possible way I just saw the trista make a grammatical error. It was a typo. It was. I'm sure of it. I'm going to lie down now with some ice on my head.

(Would it be evil of me to say I secretly believe that reading that series has done this to you? I know people like it, but does anything need to be 800 pages long when it doesn't even stand alone?)

*shriek*

I promise it really was a typo. The your/you're thing is one of my biggest spine-twitch-causing pet peeves, and I really, honestly, truly do know the difference. Still, I probably deserve to be beaten in the name of grammar and I point this icon at myself.

*dies of embarrassment*

The length of the books really doesn't bother me at all. I think it's because the story moves the whole way through each book. It's not the same as Jordan's The Endless Fucking Wheel of Eternity Time, where things move along at a decent pace for the first several books and then for the next thirty or so books not a damn thing happens ever.

But no, it wouldn't be evil. It would just make me sad to know that you don't have The Joy. ;)
