The mushroom thing yesterday was interesting. It seems most of The FriendBots either really hate them or are thoroughly insane. What do you people in mixed relationships (mushroom-nonmushroom) or families do about pizza? Please tell me you don't put them on your pizza. What do you put on your pizza

Someday, when I am in MN or you are in NJ, I will cook you pork chops stuffed with mushroom duxelles and you will find love for the fungus. I promise.

I still don't get the whole pineapple pizza thing (although I've seen dessert pizzas with cinnamon & apple [and spice] that work).

I love just about any pork or cow-based meat on my pizza. Since the wife is Jewish, I usually only get pepperoni when I'm on my own. As far as other toppings, mushrooms and spinach are high on my list. Ditto bell peppers.

Spinach is fanatbulous on pizza. Tommy and I used to make our own pizza all the time, and one of our favorites had tomatoes, spinach, and mixed nuts on it. The mushrooms, though? Revolting.

Just slices of regular ol' tomatoes, cut very thin. Oh, god, it is so very good. We did add garlic, and used all kinds of cheese. There were a couple of pizzas that had Stilton on them, among other things. Mmmmm.

I'm in a mixed relationship, and I will occasionally allow him to have half mushroom. Or we order multiple pizzas.

I hate taking a chance on the half-with-mushrooms-half-without pizzas. It would be just my luck that the half with the mushrooms would be a circle in the center instead of the right or the left side.
