alias: Yeah, I lost interest in the show after the writers started pulling unbelievable (in a bad way) plot twists out of their ASCIIs. *g* I think that I got more amusement out of the gag reels and assorted parodies than from the actual show.
benjamin mckenzie: Mm, pretty Ryan Atwood on The OC, although not as interesting

Mmmmmm, love that man. *gasp* ME TOO!!! I haven't seen him in "Someone Like You", though (which has a completely different title over here, which I can't for the life of me understand why).
And I wasn't that pleased with X3 either. (In general, not just Wolvie.)
What's the British title for Someone Like You? It's an excellent romantic comedy, with equal parts of each, and the guh-worthy Hugh; you should totally rent it. (I actually liked it better than the book, Animal Husbandry, but that's probably because of Hugh again.)
As an action movie and second sequel, X3 was okay. But I've been reading X-Men fanfiction, and if the couplings -- Logan/Marie, Jean/Scott -- that I read there are canon, then this movie raped canon. Can you fill me in on what's the real stuff and what's wishful thinking?
Also, I totally guessed the "shocker" ending. *g* Maybe it's the writer in me ... or maybe the X3 writers just weren't that good. ;)
I believe the British title is something like "Animal Attraction". I haven't read the book actually, *adds to summer reading list*. I bought "Kate and Leopold" some years ago because it was in the sale and simply had Hugh in it
( ... )
(It told me I had exceeded the maximum, which is never good, so I posted in two posts. Sorry.)
Anyways, to try and sum up... Canon isn't clear cut because there's just so much and so many different forms of it. The most popular pairings film-verse are Jean/Scott, Logan/Marie, the Logan/Rogue/Jean triangle, the Logan/Rogue/Bobby triangle and the Logan/Rogue/Gambit triangle. All of these (except perhaps the Bobby(Iceman) one) have strong links in the comics, cartoon etc. But basically, you can go with what you like and it'd be accepted in this fandom.
I hope that helps somewhat, because I just feel like I've gone round in a big circle. Can I ask if you ship anyone, or are you not into it enough? Like I said, I ship Logan/Marie- the unkillable man and the untouchable woman- I think they go well together :D
