Another Terrific Chapter! expatbeth April 20 2011, 13:58:06 UTC

Katie being a hilarious drunk, Cook being cheekily chivalrous, Effy being all-knowing, Gina greeting her daughter with "What the fuck, darling?", Naomi and Emily flirting! -- so many things to love!!!

And Naomi: yeah, she's still doing things like leaving Emily to sober up Katie before Rob and Jenna get home. And yeah, maybe she still "isn't brave enough. Yet." But she's making real progress! Items 1, 2, 3 and 5 on her list are covered, so it's just that pesky No. 4 she has to deal with now.

Once again, I find myself eagerly awaiting more. :-)

Cool, I'm glad you liked it! Number 4 is indeed going to be the most difficult on the list. Thanks for reading :)

and wondering why it doesn't make new chapters appear any faster. I'm guessing this situation must be subject to a rule analogous to "a watched pot never boils". ;-)

I'm feeling reasonably confident that your Naomi and Emily ultimately will persuade Katie to accept them as a couple, but I'm dying to see how you get there, and what sort of twists and turns you have in store along the way.

"Figure something out quick, yeah?"

they're getting there...♥

Naomily will always be my OTP. You take me back to its glory days and for that, I'm thankful. Cheers on this!

Lolll, glory days. I miss those! They're my OTP as well, which probably explains the ridi amount of fic produced after the second gen has moved on. *eyeroll*

You're welcome!

I can't believe this is half-way. I demand a sequel!

What is your banner, btw?I never guessed it. A circus/Skins theme? Katie distracts me.

N should tap that already omg REMEMBER WE ARE BEING CLASSY T.

Lol, I'm glad you think things are awesome. A sequel would be pretty hard, things get wrapped up fairly neatly, I think. Let me know closer to the time!

My header? Not for the uninitiated - there's an explanation somewhere on my journal. Basically, stemmed from a daft request I put in somewhere. Morg likes a challenge ;)

I love Cook/Katie ♥ Cook was hilarious with his door stops and his £3.50 flowers from the garage.

I had a ridiculous grin on my face reading the NE scenes. They are just adorable. I also hope Naomi figures something out quick ;)

Naomi is really bad at figuring things out, I'm afraid; particularly things that could well lead to Katie's head exploding.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

This is so good its insane, it's better than skins itself and the tension when I'm reading is killing me in a totally good way. Just a big wow because the characters are totally spot on, the writing is brilliant, the story is original but believable and fits the skins universe better than the programme itself. I love good writing and a storyline I can invest myself in and thats what I've done sitting here reading each chapter back to back and actually feeling a bit devastated when I had no more to read. I'm rambling a bit so I hope what I'm trying to say makes some sense, I just think this is perfect.
