Hey Hey It's The Puddlejumpers!

Yes, I can't stop writing about them. This story actually moves ahead in the continuity: it takes place after "Four Quarters" and "Bootleg."

I had tea. Then I reached the line about clowns. I have no more tea. *changes top mournfully*

That book was written by Bill Flanagan, the intrepid reporter who followed the band on tour. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions about who the reporter in this story is. ;-)

Is it very, very wrong of me that I saw said reporter's surname and thought "is this in the AU where Joe Flanigan never took up acting and stayed working as a journalist?" *headdesks*

Pee Ess: This is awesome

Baby, if you're wrong, I don't want to be right!

It so totally is in that AU. *vbeg*

I'm glad you like it. Sorry about the shirt, though. That's the rock 'n' roll lifestyle for you!

Well then, consider me wrong always!

Er.

Perhaps you can work that into one of the possible multiverses, if Ami ever prods you into continuing Dooooom? *g*

My lifestyle is possibly the most un-rock 'n' roll thing imaginable, as well you know. The highlight of my day was going to be taking the dog for a walk, but we have torrential rain! So that's a no.

However, I do have a fresh mug of tea! And the space to write, so maybe that's a tiny bit rock 'n' roll? In a sedate, waltzing kind of way.

Oh, I love love love this universe. I'm so glad to see more of it. And this is just fabulous too.

Of course you've just made me want a copy of that book even more *g*

It's such a good book. Flanagan's a really engaging writer, and they're, well. Them.

(Unless you mean U2 by U2, which is terrific also, although I actually started this story before that book fell into my lap. The Flanagan could tide you over in the meantime!)

I'm so glad you're still enjoying this.

Weaving canon in is FUN. *g*

I have to start making things better for John soon. I started something that takes place far in the future, so I know it's possible...
