As promised in my own journal, I'm posting the full .psd files for two of my icons, so people can see what kind of layers I use and such.

All the files are in .psd format, and were made in Photoshop 7.0. I'm pretty sure earlier versions of Photoshop should be able to read this, but I can't guarantee anything. I'm not sure how well other programs ( ( Read more... )

Recently I've discovered colored manga icons, and have been playing around with them some. At first I didn't like the results because the colors felt flat, but after a while I took a liking to it when I realized that playing with layer modes, gradients, textures and other things I could get a smoother look ( Read more... )
