i have to agree with the nail polish thing. and the calendars! i have a mini one of barcelona on my desk at home. i nearly skipped grade 2, but i got 96% on the test instead of 98% required for the skip.

I don't remember there being one test, but I do remember being in the guidance counsellor's office trying to read a list of big words. To this day I wonder how many of them I botched.

oh man! yeah i remember that too. i was out of the classroom alot in "enrichment" programs... i was very bored becaues i'd work very quickly. hten they decided to give me a "gifted child" test.. which was the one i was talking about. so apparently i'm not gifted lol!
but sure i "dumbed out" about grade 5 anyway... slipped back into somewhat average..... 80% avg grades.

For real on #3? I think I've come to terms with the only-child thing myself.

As far as numero 4, I can't stand it on my fingernails but I have this compulsive need to keep my toenails colored at all times.

I was lonely growing up and now that I'm older, I wish I had someone close in my family to do things with.

As for nailpolish, I don't mind it on my toenails either. We are weird.

That is a best-case scenario, you know. My sisters never let me play with them when I was little (they used to go in Jennifer's room and slam the door in my face and tell me I couldn't come in). Now that I'm older my relationship with them is like a less-than casual friendship in Erin's case, and pure annoyance in Jennifer's. Erin and I only talk when we want to complain about Jennifer.

I see your point. But seeing as I'm really close and friendly with my cousins of the same age, it isn't too hard to imagine that I'd be closer and friendlier with siblings.

ME TOO. I always pick it off cause it drives me nutty.
