I've been getting bored with my gym routine, so yesterday I was checking out some different things I can do. My current routine is getting too easy for me, and I want to change it up before my body gets completely used to the routine, in order to avoid plateauing. Also, I've been wanting to target my lower abs. So I found this thing called ( Read more... )

Mmmmm. Duck duck duck! Get the Peking Duck! I love it so much and no where around here does it right!
I'm going to sushi tonight, so we'll both be having good food!

Oh yum, I love sushi! Not too sure about the duck though, I'm going to stick with what I know this time around!

Your journal makes me want to hit my exclamation point repeatedly.

Seriously.

I found you through a mutual friend (can't remember who, we have a few) and have added you. You seem to be a gym rat (like me), and a day-time office poster (like me), and I've had some experience with oral surgeons (I had jaw surgery when I was 17), so I'm thinking (like I do) that you'd be a good addition to my f-list! Add me back if you like. :)

Hi! I did add you back. Yep, I love the gym and hate the office, and am just plain scared of the oral surgeon.

It's funny because once you added me I started reading your journal entries and I was surprised at the coincidences too. I also have a 10 year age difference with the hubby (me: 24, him: 34) and I am the one with the job! (Though I wish I could just give my job to him, LOL). Welcome aboard ;) (I am so lame.) (There are too many parentheticals in this comment.)

Hey hey, welcome to my too-cool-for-school side of livejournal with too many of these () as well!

I didn't realize we both share a ten year age difference in our relationships. How long have you two been together/married? I'm still in doubt over whether my older guy and I will work out (even though we share an apartment). It will certainly be fascinating for me to read about any problems (or amazing things!) that arise from the decade separating you guys.

We've been married for about 3 1/2 years, and together for almost 10. (Don't tell the feds, hehe.) I don't write about my marriage much, but that's only because there isn't much to say. We're very happy together and I have no complaints whatsoever. Seriously, it's unnatural. My husband is the nicest person on the planet - sometimes to the point where it drives me nuts cause I feel like a big meanie! The only tough spot we've had has been his trouble finding a job, but I'm sure he'll get something soon, and I've become sort of zen about it.

One thing that surprises me, and always has, is that our age difference is really a non-issue between us. We have a lot of the same interests and remember all the same old shows and played the same classic video games as kids. We always joke that it works because I'm mature for my age and his is immature for his. Haha!
