I had a nice, relaxing weekend. Friday night I knitted while D and his friend watched the hockey game, and then we played some poker afterwards. I used to be good at poker but now I always lose. Me too. Once we have a house I will go all out with the decorations and festivities. But we don't get them. The last few years I put up a few small decorations (window clings, small pumpkin, etc) but the pumpkin always rots before halloween because I have to keep it inside, and nobody sees it but us and D doesn't really care about the decorations either so why bother.

I just put up a wall hanging thing on the door of a black cat with a pumpkin that I got at zellers $1 ;)

ha, in previous years my door hanging was a 6ft tall frankenstein (you know the kind, cardboard with moveable arms & legs) that I got from the dollar store. cheap decorations rule!
