I haven't read your comment, mostly because I won't watch the episode till the week end. I write just to say that I'm loving The Pacific and I've seen the first episode of Treme. Pretty interesting too.

Part 8 of ThePacific is the best part of the whole miniseries. I was lucky enough to get the entire set with the HBO Emmy packet. I'll be interested to see what you think of the conclusion. I had no idea when I was watching that these characters were all real people. At the conclusion of the series they show photos of the actual people and tell you what happened to them.

Also, I agree that Treme is great.

Like Band Of Brothers the real survivors speak at the beginning of each episode. I didn´t want to read any biography of the main characters, but I guess that will find out that some of them have been speking in the episodes. I got goosebumps at the end of Band Of Brothers when we found out the real faces of the survivors. Can't wait to watch the end.

And Treme is fantastic... I love that kind of music so is something to add to my enjoyment. Did you watch The Wire? It became in one of my favorite TV shows ever.
