Because it was difficult to make another great TV Show after the masterpiece called THE WIRE (Generation Kill was a miniserie). David Simon created TREME and I think he is getting it again. In fact, I think TREME is my favorite HBO show right now. Season 2 has confirmed that it has been awesome to take the risk and make a TV show about New Orleans ( Read more... )

Last week ended Season 1 of Treme and I have to say that is the best TV show I've watched this season. If some of you have watched The Wire, I guess you knew David Simon couldn´t let us down and of course that is what exactly happened with Treme. Sadly only two episodes left for the end and it has been getting better and better with the episodes. Episode 8, IWO JIMA, focused in John Basilone, was really beautiful and heartbreaking.

1) I'm reviewing again THE SOPRANOS and BAND OF BROTHERS, and It's being a pleasure and I'm getting ready for THE PACIFIC. I didn´t remember how awesome was Tony Soprano's mother. HBO has posted in Youtube this video that includes a 2009 resume plus what is coming in 2010. This year promises to be a great year for HBO because the new TV shows: Treme, The Pacific and Boardwalk empire. Can't wait to watch these TV shows.
