More airport madness

I had dinner with Mum and Dad last night, saw Julie briefly and then drove up to Gatwick Airport and stayed overnight at the Hilton. This mornings' 10:50 flight should have been easy.

Leave it to you to turn catchin' a flight into a Marathon! It just wouldn't suit you at all to miss that *training* session. *giggles*

But seriously.. talk about confusing roads, lack of signage & what's with the only car rental being at the other end of the place?! Whatever!

What you managed to pull off was nothin' short of a miracle. *laughin'*

I'm starting to think I do it deliberately so I have something to write in my journal. Really though, most people would have never tried to fit in breakfast with their daughter when they had a flight an international flight at 10:15... we didn't meet until 7.30, so at best I should have been there for 15-minutes which wouldn't have made it worth the effort... and I wanted to see her!

Of course it didn't help that I though the flight was 10:50...
