I'm on American Airlines flight from the UK to Chicago, they bring around the late afternoon food tray for cattle class. On the tray is one small deepdish pizza(pretty decent), a shortbread cookie in the wrapper, and a small pack of grapes ( Read more... )

I bought a 2+ lb container of smoked almonds yesterday. On the label:
This product is processed on equipment that also processes nuts.

Genius. Absolutely genius.

It'd been awhile since I was on a trans-Atlantic flight, so recently I was intrigued by the veg option the dude next to me was having. It looked much nicer than the "chicken or beef" option. Have you ever tried getting one of those? Is it better? Worse?

No I have not, but it's a good idea, I'll order a veg next time I travel, which should be in the next month or so!
