I had such a wonderful evening in the company of wonderful people, on this cold and rainy night in West Philly. Our friends, Melani and Brian, hosted a Happy Hour to mark the completion of one of their renovation projects at a lovely site across the street from Curio Theatre on Baltimore Avenue. They're hoping to have a restaurant move in

i like it too. though i have trouble imagining sitting here in this restaurant saying "i long to return to ravensgate manor" like one would say "i yearn to return to manderly".

we shall see though.

It should probably be a made-up name/word like manderley -- like sudely or davensly or glockfield.

hey, we went to Abbraccio last night as well, and had some of the wonderful chocolate concoction....it was rich and cocoay...very yummy. I must admit that dessert at abbraccio is one of my favorite west philly, late weekend night things to do.

I'd never had the chocolate divinity before -- it's like eating truffle frosting! I've always opted for the tirimisu, which is... soooo decadently wonderful!
