Coincidentally, the issue of political refugees eventually does come up. As a small, charming mammal, you would technically be safe in one of our many unreasonably verdant meadows which burn unregistered trespassers and dissidents alive.
(Also yes, it says we have fur coats, however at the time the issue was presented to me as "hobo fur"…)
