Out of the blue, this occurs over AIM:

ofhatsandmen: no
Trikotomi: Then I suppose I have not.
ofhatsandmen: ok

By this point I've done what I automatically do when a stranger talks to me: google them.

You know, I think that may have been what happened to me that one time someone I couldn't identify contacted me on AIM totally out of the blue then I lost contact and never regained it.
