Got back last night from An Event Apart in Seattle. It was a blast! I can't imagine a conference much more relevant to what I do every day, and I met some awesome people. new house!
After a small fiasco on Wednesday (let's just say our tendency to procrastinate kicked us in the ass - and the face - and the stomach - and the backs of our knees...), we moved out of our house, sold it, and bought another house. We moved in yesterday, and got our cable hooked up. Today, our new refrigerator arrived. Yay for shiny new things ( Read more... ) -

We are selling off a bunch of Simpsons figures on eBay. I hate selling on eBay. I probably wouldn't mind it so much if we listed, say, one or two things at a time. But when we sell, we SELL. Mostly because I can't bear to drag it out over months and months. Right now we have 78 items listed, and I'm posting more this afternoon.

At work (and sometimes at home), people throw around phrases like 'social networking' and 'Web 2.0' a lot. To my mind, the plethora of options for tagging, storing photos, communicating, calendaring, and tracking is... not out of control, exactly, but really overwhelming.
