Yeah, there aren't any fans of Emily and JJ. WTF? AJ Cook and Paget Brewster were two of the main reasons I was ever even tempted to watch the show. Sounds to me like they want to save money, so they cut out the women they thought they could get away with losing (since Penelope has a "strong following"). Lame, stupid, moronic, show-murdering decision.

Exactly. Network suits continually prove how stupid they are. And I did start watching because of JJ/Emily - and promptly bought DVD sets so I could catch up.

CBS is stupid, that's the only thing I can think of. The show is doing so good that they've ordered 13 eps of the spin-off - but they gut the show that spawned the spin-off? WTF?

I wasn't very interested in watching the spin-off before this and I sure as shit am not going to now. Whether I continue to watch CM...that's looking mighty doubtful as well.
