Oh this was excellent!! Thank you!!!!!!!!! :D

I loved what you did with the aftermath of Doranda-- Rodney's attempt to make everything right by doing everything right turns out so very, very wrong. I love the solution is team. And it's the same solution for Ronon. Great moments between Rodney and Ronon... and Rodeny and Lorne as well, which was a complete bonus! :) Great h/c with a wonderful teamy end.

*huggles fic*

Thank you!

I've written a couple of fics in response to fairly open prompts, but this was my first request fic. I was a little nervous about signing up for it, but once I read your prompt, I had all sorts of ideas for the story. It was a fun story to write and I really enjoyed developing the Rodney and Ronon friendship scenes. As for Lorne, he just showed up once I started writing and wanted to be included, too :) I'm really glad the story and its teamy ending worked for you.

This is really well done. The character interactions are perfect, especially Rodney's rambling bluster and both Lorne's and Ronon's senses of humor. That Rodney would try to atone by making the same mistakes makes perfect sense, and I really like that Ronon is the one to see his real mistake and teach him how not to keep making it. The image of Rodney sitting schoolchild-attentive, trying to master this new skill according to the rules he understands, is a great one.

The whump is very satisfying, as are all the little ways the team tries to take care of Rodney even when they don't yet know what's wrong. I love the idea of Ronon hunting down bad trust-exercise participants. And the entire gaming scene, from the revelation of the workings of free casino nights through all the different games and machinations, is great fun. Wonderful story!

Thank you. It is nice to know the characters interactions rung true. They are great characters to work with. Writing some of the Rodney & Ronon scenes and the Rodney & Lorne scenes had me chuckling to myself as I wrote. Glad you liked the whump. I've written a bit of Rodney angst in in previous stories, but this was my first Rodney whump. I don't think it will be my last. Poor Rodney!

I have read so many Doranda aftermath stories and this one is on the top of the heap. I haven't read this treatment before. The characters were true to form and delightful. You cut right to the problem of lack of teamwork and just rolled with it.

And this- Rodney thought it was strange that he could spend so much time with someone and still miss them- Was just pure wonderful. His and Sheps's estrangement summed up nicely.

And Ronon...what can I say. His and Teyla's story goes largely ignored in fanfic and you tied it in masterfully.

Finally, comparing Rodney's flying to that of a dodo...giggles.!

I'd read a couple of Doranda stories, but they had a different viewpoint or covered a different aspect of the possible aftermath. It was only while writing this and doing a little canon research that I discovered just how many Doranda stories there were. I began wondering if this might duplicate something. However, I decided to just go ahead a write my take on it anyway. I figured Ronon’s problems paralleled Rodney's and would make a good way to work the friendship angle. It turned out to be a lot of fun to write.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the little details in the story, too.
