This journal is friends-only.

Comment if you are interested in being added, with how I know you or why I should want to.

I most likely won't unless I know who you are, but at least then I'll think about it.

Thanks!

The book we were looking at was Flatbreads & Flavors: A Baker's Atlas, by Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duguid.
published by William Morrow in 1995

It doesn't look like it's in print at present, but there seem to be used copies out there.

amenirdis asked if I knew you, and I clicked on your profile to see what the deal was. First thing I saw was a Josh Ritter quote (and an awesome one at that), so I had to say something. ;-D Hi! I'm Geonn. I'm a published writer, fan of Amanda Tapping and Sanctuary, SG-1, all that. I write fic. ~tips hat~ Nice to know ya. :D

Lucky are you who finds me in the wilderness; I am the only unquiet ghost who does not seek rest tricksterquinn September 25 2011, 18:57:15 UTC
Haha, I wish I could take credit, but omphale23 only just introduced me to his music this summer. It's wonderful, isn't it? Serious new favorite!

A has mentioned you a few times; I gather you're an interesting fellow worth knowing. I'm Quinn; I'm a rather omnivorous sort of fan, with a love for X-Men (well, Marvel in generally really) movies and BBC shows and HBO miniserieses and fairy tales and WWII and obnoxious gobs of symbolism (...which may explain the attraction to Josh Ritter...), an anxious optimist and pragmatic idealist. I recently left politics (ha, as if) and am in training to become a massage therapist.

It's nice to meet you!

They left you half dead in the street, but that just means you're half alive geonncannon September 25 2011, 19:02:06 UTC
I first heard him on Letterman, and I was intrigued by how... HAPPY he seemed. And the song was so raucous and wild ("To the Dogs or Whoever") and the guitar player kept helping out the drummer with a stick he hid in his jacket... it was all so crazy I had to look him up (and I misheard Dave; I thought it was a band called The Historical Conquests, which I thought was an awesome name for a band). All these years later... I've bought all of his albums at least twice (I spent $80 on his new album because I got an autographed LP, an advanced copy, and then I bought it at the store when it was officially released). I just love his writing. :D ( ... )

Hello fellow dancer (although admittedly, blues is only an acquaintance, whereas lindy is my friend)! I'd be interested to see what your blog is about? Mine is 95% unlocked, so you'll have a better clue whether we're a good LJfriends-match or not.

I very rarely update, but I'm happy to try out the friend thing! I comment much, much, much more often than I post.

If you follow me home, does that mean I'm supposed to keep you?
