For the most part I try to steer clear of Fandom wank. One of the things I adore about fandom is the fact that for everything each of us has in common, we have a million and one things that are different. And one person's wank is another's interest or kink.

I might not agree with it but it doesn't give them any less reason for liking it.

That, and most of the wanks I've seen going on in fandom, have usually made me more interested in the character (pairing, etc.)if I wasn't already in love with them.

The smart-assed, shitheaded side of me wants to quip that it's about time the French fought for something.

On the other hand, I'd have to say that - while the death of the two people on the motorcycle was a tragedy - I think the riot proportions are taking things out of hand (FROM WHAT I KNOW OF THE SITUATION).

We'va had incidents in the states where an accident has occurred while police were in pursuit and deaths have been a result, and I know that some communities have had campaigns for 'safe chase' where police will cut off a pursuit in honor of public safety.

The exact details of this specific accident are not clear to me, though from the articles I've read it seems like the victims were at least equally (if not solely) responsible for the accident that killed them.

Any death as a result of an accident is a tragedy. Riotting and causing more chaos and injuries/deaths because of the initial tragedy is pointless and counterproductive.

I am totally, without a doubt, an eye freak.

I REALLY love it when someone talks to you and just has great eye contact. Or really nice, vibrant color. That sparkle of life that is just SO THERE with some people.

Yeah, when it comes to physical attraction on a visual level, with either sex, the eyes will totally have me in a puddle.
