painting

So I finished the painting that I have worked on over and over. Still never fully satisfied with it and the weird thing is, I could start a new painting today and be done with it in three or four days and be very pleased about it. I guess, its a matter of how clear the vision is, I dunno but I find it so hard to give up on a piece. I know that is ( Read more... )

Really cool Tricia. I once had a vision of a woman with auburn hair lying down with her hair spread out behind her and it morphed into fall leaves at the tips. This reminds me of that!

Thanks Tricia! We don't celebrate that in Canada, but last weekend was Victoria Day.

YOU have a great memorial day! :)

Tricia hair that turns into tree branches and leaves... wow!

Also, love the pink and blue background, very pleasing to the eye.

I love the hair becoming tree leaves. Aww, birdies are so tiny! I don't know what kind of bird they are. I saw your post with a photo of the mother bird. We have black-capped chickadees here, but they don't look like that. Your mother bird's entire head is black, not just a cap on top.

yes that is why I am not sure if they are chicadees. Its been so much fun watching them go from eggs to birdies.

I hope you are doing well, and have some energy to make some new art!

Yes, I'm doing pretty well and paint every night possible. When I have appointments for the next day, I usually can't paint the whole night beforehand, and that's frustrating.

I found a web page with photos of small birds. Two of them, the Spotted Tow-hee and the Dark-eyed Junco, look similar to your mother bird (especially the Junco).
