painting
So I finished the painting that I have worked on over and over. Still never fully satisfied with it and the weird thing is, I could start a new painting today and be done with it in three or four days and be very pleased about it. I guess, its a matter of how clear the vision is, I dunno but I find it so hard to give up on a piece. I know that is very different from some artists who work fast and intuitively which, intuitive is something I strive for but always fall short of abstract. I always want to make some sort of sense of an image and that means representational. Well, I am thinking out loud here and I am sure this is a subject that critics and art thinkers could go on and on about and it may behoove me to process it more on my own. Anyway, this is the painting that had my time for over two weeks:
