I have the flu. Stupid body. Two years out of the last three I am in bed over the holiday!

But! I finished my yuletide fic, am happy with it and have surpassed my greatest ever fic word count!

And my fandom_stocking is up :) - fandom_stocking hereOh, and... what else... I have way too much to do considering how sick I feel. Dammit. Um. There was something else... but

Moving to DW as my main home as soon as Christmas is over and I have two spare minutes to get to grips with the cross posting thing.

The visual agony of the new style is what tipped the balance. I can weather storms over porn, fandoms, icons, etc. but when a change starts having physical effects, I'm off! Though I'm still campaigning for a rollback for everybody's sake.

Poor you - hope the flu subsides rapidly. Would use my hugs icon but my icons are now unusable...

Hmmm. I have a customised comment page in theory. But it is currently screwing up the comment boxes. And flicking me all over the place. I shall stick to it in order to use my icons because the new system is insane. But everything seems to be a little bit broken!!

Thank you darling! I find it easier to keep up journalling anyway, tbqh - Facebook's layout gives me a headache after too long as well, which is another reason LJ's is making me twitch. I'm glad I already had a custom comment page on here, but a lot of my flist don't, so, yeah. ♥

No, sorry. I tried DW for a while and I do have an account there I don't use anymore, but I have various issues with how it works, with some of the founders and the way quite a few people go about trying to get people to move to DW.

If some of these things were to be sorted out and LJ would worsen, it may happen, but no at present. (And pushing me to a move will likely have the opposite effect.)

Agreed. In fact, Denise actually helped me pay for my last account renewal by sending money to her through PayPal and extending it that way since the regular processor wouldn't take my debit card for some reason. Can't imagine LJ doing that.
