Who: Valeria and Link Where: The Stable(s) When: July 17th, 2009; 10 AMish Summary: Valeria meets Link at the Stables. (To Be Edited / More to be added) Rating: G
Link came along the path not long after Valeria made her rather nervous entrance. He was holding his sackdoll in the crook of one arm, and a bag slung under one arm. He had a habit of mending tack when he could, and now that Dapple was here he was working on hers, but he'd left some things in his room. It didn't take long to get it and come back, but in that time, Val had turned up.
Link saw her pressed against the door and raised an eyebrow, even as he raised the hand with the bag up to wave to her. "Hey!" he said, "Val, right?" He put the sackdoll down, which hopped to the ground and looked up at Val, as if deciding between her identity as a Dungeon Enemy or a Helpless Townsperson.
He moved to the door, giving a smile. "Why're you hugging the door like that? You can come on in."
Valeria turned her eyes from Link to the sack boy to Link again, a semi-awkward smile spreading across her face in turn. She offered the taller a nod in response to his inquiry and dropped into a crouching position to get a better look at the shorter, whom she offered a friendly little wave in greeting. When Link addressed her again, she stood, turned, and stepped back from the door. The faintest hint of pink was visible on her cheeks as she rubbed the back of her head and stepped after the blue-eyed, blond-haired man with some small sense of urgency, attempting to make light of what was, to her, a rather embarrassing situation.
“Hugging? I wasn't hugging it! I was just-er,” she paused, glancing back seemingly to check and see that the sack doll was following them. “You know!”
It was curiosity that had prompted Valeria to venture closer to the feeding stall to observe its peculiar occupant. She was familiar with goats in so far as knowing what they were and having had some previous exposure to them, but this goat was unlike any goat she had seen before. A shake of the head was offered to Link as she peered with an easy smile down at the Ordon Goat, listening attentively to the blond man's explanation whilst simultaneously observing her new, four-hoofed acquaintance
