Despite what awkwardness might've arisen from the body swapping situation, Alex was still Elle's best friend, and he was in obvious upset. She'd gotten to know Claire a little since she'd been stuck in this place, and she did like the woman, so the idea she might've disappeared like people seemed to on and off...
She just didn't want to accept it. But she knew Alex needed a friend, so she left her apartment and made her way quickly to the apartment her friend shared with his girlfriend and brother. She didn't hesitate at the door, raising her hand to rap her knuckles against the wood.
"Alex? It's Elle."
