I don't know if it'd work, since this is more of a personal preference, but it really helps me when I use mental maps to join ideas.

Granted, I'm used to it, but sometimes creating webs of references and relating new information with old knowledge (even if it seems somewhat random at first glance), is a good way to help you remember the information when you need it.

Thank you! I've never actually used concept maps, but since that's how our brains actually think, that is an excellent idea. ;p

I'm studying my organic chemistry and preparing for the MCAT now. And I have these thick pathophysiology and pharmacology books on the shelf, calling out to me.

I have this excellent computer program (which you may download for free), WordQuiz, which is excellent for learning any kind of vocabulary words. That includes foreign languages. You just type in the word and the definition, and it can test you in flashcard mode, multiple choice mode, or fill-in-the-blank mode.

By the way, are you a salsa dancer? Just met a Mexican girl last night while doing so.

Ooh, that sounds interesting, might come in handy for my English classes, thank you for the link!

And no, I'm unfortunately the proud (?) owner of two left feet and a grudge with gravity. I believe there are less graceful things than me in creation.

...I'm just slightly hardpressed to name them. ;P

My pleasure. ;p I just emailed the program to you, Rieka. Try it!

Awww...but you're an actress. Can't you fake it? ;p
