First World Problem - a Bag

I can't seem to find a hand/shoulder bag that works for me. I used to like bags with lots of compartments, but the ones I have are a cloth material that just falls about, obscuring the contents. Also, made of hemp, it's way too heavy, even before I put anything in it ( Read more... )

Man, I wish! I have been having a terrible time finding a shoulder/laptop bag that isn't ginormous. I finally ordered one from Baggalini (https://www.baggallini.com), which meets some of your requirements but not all. I do like the one I got, though.

I’m not a very good person to ask about bags as mine have got tinier and tinier over the years. I prefer cloth bags as they are lighter and I really like the styles of the cross body bags Kipling do. There are lots of copies of those out there which are much cheaper.

Mostly I only carry a phone, small cloth purse, tissues and lip salve these days. It fits into a very small bag.

Oh, I feel your pain. I have given up trying to buy one - I'm currently trying out patterns to make my own! I keep finding bags that have one thing I want or two, but not all. I will end up making my own pattern out of bits of all of them and have a cannibalised bag, I know it!
