Next week, it will be three months since Leyann and I got engaged (I paid off the ring earlier this week). I don't think I really mentioned what our initial plans for the wedding were publicly on this blog. It was a fairly simple decision in terms of how and the initial plan. In fact, Leyann's mom, Caryn came up with the idea. So, sometime next

sounds perfect. :) My boyfriend's brother is getting married in the spring, and as of right now it basically sounds like it'll be both sets of parents, my boyfriend+me, and maybe a couple of each of their friends, at my boyfriend's family's lake house in Michigan. I think they're opting to not have a reception, though, in favor of the lot of us just going out to dinner at a nice-ish restaurant. These plans suit them perfectly, and I'm happy to hear that you guys are planning the wedding YOU want, too. :D

That's cool. You guys should have the wedding you want. Ceremonies are such a formality anyway. We know you guys are going to love, hold, cherish, etc. etc. until death do you part. You don't have to make a fancy display of it (unless you really want to, haha). A DVD is just fine. =3 Yay wedding!
