Our county 4-H is raising money to put a new roof on the building. I just finished my contribution (I was in 4-H once - a long time ago)and it even has a "carrying case". The first pillow case I have ever made actually.

It seems like forever since I have written anything.  WE HAVE WATER!!!!  Lots and Lots.  It was in the basement, so I have been busy with that instead of sewing.  But we are luckier than most, and when the sump pump broke we did have a spare. This picture is our driveway, which we are not using right now.

I am off to my niece's wedding in Wyoming tomorrow.  I made her a wallhanging for a guestbook at her request.  Here's what it looks like.   Too bad you can't see all the detail and "stuff" that is on each "layer".  I am very proud of it.  In the lower left hand corner I made a "frame" to sit beside the cake and put their engagement picture in it.

A friend traveled to my house for the weekend to learn applique. This is the project we each made. She finished her's entirely, and I finished getting my binding sewn down on Wednesday morning. I LOVE her........an Amy Bradley design....
