No wonder she fancies him...

LOL! Actually, I think it's more Allan fancying Djaq than the other way around, but more on that next week. ;)

Guy really is dim. Does he really think there are two identical necklaces floating around? Blinded by love, I suppose...

Hmm, I don't know. Guy actually seemed really sharp to me in this episode. I mean, not a genius by any means, but much more clever than he usually is. He's so close to the truth in this episode, it almost hurts.

I'm sure we get a good reference to where Knighton is in this one. Where does Guy say the 'gold' convoy is supposed to be heading? When Robin and Much intercept it (coming from Knighton), which side of the road do they approach it from and in which direction (relative to their arrival) is it going?Hmm, I don't know. I think we're missing one side of the puzzle, so proper triangulation isn't really possible. But for the record, the convoy is headed to Rotherham, which IRL is northwest of Nottingham town. When Allan says he can't find his brother, Much says they went ( ... )

Ah yes, I'm looking forward to 1x08 :)

Ah yes, I remember when I first watched the series, I was just willing him to take that next couple of steps of logic and work it out. I do feel sorry for him.

But for the record, the convoy is headed to Rotherham, which IRL is northwest of Nottingham town.

Oh wow GENIUS, thank you! I've never managed to notice the Rotherham reference. This makes it all fit into place perfectly, actually. Hmm, let's see if I can express it with a word diagram...

Which puts Knighton effectively where we said it was. YAY!
