Not gonna lie, I make a variation of this weekly. Sometimes with ramen, sometimes with whatever pasta noodles I have lying around. I make the sauce in my microwave as Im heating up my noodles (peanut butter, stock, chili sauce, soy sauce. Stir every 15 seconds till smooth), but otherwise its the same :)

I keep a bag of shredded carrots around always (Its lazy, but Ive learned pre-shredded carrots means I'll eat them daily), and toss a handful in the last minute of cooking the noodles to soften them just enough.

I also love cubing up some pre-cooked/pressed/seasoned tofu for it. And occasionally toss in crushed peanuts if I have them on hand, or craisins. Mmm craisins in it is amazing. Pumpkin seeds... anything that gives a crunch to it really. Now Im craving trashy pad thai!

I miss my sriracha. I just bought it and hadn't gotten to cook with it before we moved. And some how it didn't make the move with us. Sob.

NOOOOOOO!!
:'(

i just cleared my desk out at work (last day before moving) and made sure to tenderly pack it away. I have a feeling it's going to be a great source of happiness while I'm away at Uni, lol.

(pst, you could do like my boyfriend did: wear a large coat, go out to teriyaki, and "borrow" a bottle. keekeeekeeee)

ghetto hot and sour soup:

make ramen like normal (any flavor, but chicken is the best)
add rice vinegar
chili and garlic sauce (from the makers of Cock Sauce)
black pepper
egg (optional)

consume...

brilliant!
