See, this is the thing! I totally was like "Man, I wish you hadn't introduced West as a creepy stalker, because he's really adorable this episode, but I can't enjoy him because RAWR."

And yeah, like Claire wouldn't want to stay in Costa Verde, I mean, if not because she can't trust her dad, then because she wants to be a normal girl and not have to be on the run all the time and wants to have a life? Like, why did it have to be all about West? Bleh.

And... hm. Like, I didn't think Mohinder was being exceptionally stupid (like other people seem to?) early in the episode? Like, I thought he was maybe being a little overconfident that he could totally make the whole thing go smoothly without anyone getting hurt, etc. And also, I mean, Claire wanted to help, so he theoretically could have been right! But I don't really... I'm having a hard time making his entire arc make sense from a characterization standpoint this season. Or even this episode. Yr thoughts? If you have any specific ways of fanwaking it so it makes sense? (I have a ( ... )

Precisely. I'm all thrown off-balance with West, now. I'm starting to look back at his creepy-stalker phase and wondering whether he had motivations that are actually not creepy, even. This episode did a number on me o_O Mohinder shooting Noah and West being helpful? WHAT?

Then because she wants to be a normal girl and not have to be on the run all the time and wants to have a life?
Yeah, exactly. She can actually make decisions *just for herself*. I believe this is completely possible, and that, even more than the stalking, pissed me off with the whole Claire/West plotline.

Seriously, can we have an episode set in the 70s yet?
I KNOW, RIGHT? I want a whole mini-series dedicated to the older generation and their crazy soul-selling adventures, AND I WANT TO KNOW WHO SLEPT WITH WHOM, BECAUSE THEY WERE SO THE ORIGINAL SUPERHERO DOGPILE ORGY.

I wish we'd get that episode. *sigh* It doesn't seem likely, but it would be so fantastically awesome. Especially the parts with Angela and her girlfriend. tinheart and I have decided it's ( ... )

*L* Now, see, I've never hated West. But I'm also not the kind of person who insists every character be treated with reverence and kid gloves. So I shrugged the hate off and even made my share of anti-West jokes.

But this episode? I cannot get his mid-air confrontation with Noah out of my mind. O_O I just cannot. (It reminds me of his "Claire, shut up." line that was just So.Perfect.)

Hell, if I were in her position, you bet I’d be feeling Mohinder up every chance I could get.

Haha! Her and Eden. You can't blame them.

Hiro's arch made me sad, because no amount of kick ass acting could disguise the fact that it was rushed together and made all characters involved seem rash and flaky. (Also, why are individual deaths always fated, but exploding men within our power to change?)

And yeah, this week's plot was so thin the holes in it were actually produced by Young!Hiro's plastic sword.

But Matt, oh Matt... you already know my thoughts on this. *L*

Fingers crossed for next week.

That mid-air confrontation, man. I want to stop perving it so hard, BUT I CAN'T. And writing porn in my head about it. Oh, God.

You can't blame them.
Not in the least. And while Elle/Mohinder doesn't grab me yet, I wouldn't be opposed to tossing her in for a threesome with Peter. I'm generous like that. *g* Ooooh, or Maya/Elle/Mohinder. That'd be nice. Wait, what we were talking about?

Also, why are individual deaths always fated, but exploding men within our power to change?
I have the feeling we'll never get a real answer to this. Which is frustrating. We get axioms and aphorisms instead of explanations of the abnormalities in Hiro's powers.

MATT, OH, MATT. The worst part about him going to the dark side is I can see why he's doing it. Now maybe we can finally figure out the mystery of FYG!Matt.

*LOL* I think we had this conversation before, but this is exactly why being psychic would be the worst power for me to have. I would so go evil.

again, reading (kind of, just a bit) without watching. So, Noah says Mohinder, uh? I want that. I want it now. I want Monnet, dammit!

and I like your AU, I want them to be working together.

Man, now I need to get to my computer and actually watch the episode to know exactly what happened ;_;

I want them to be working together.
Me, too! I think they'd make such an awesome team. It's too bad it doesn't look like that's going to pan out.

But they were still *so* 'shippy this episode, which I loved.

They so were. I loved them in the episode, even if most people hate Mo now. Come on, the episode was perfect for them, it was Claude/Bennet all over again!

» Noah/West. Um. Okay. I feel dirty admitting this, but I started ’shipping Noah/West in a really weird and fucked up way not too long ago, and the FLYING SCENE DID NOT HELP ( ... )

Oh gosh, is it totally dirty and wrong of me to want to rewatch that flying scene over and over?
Are you kidding? That's my most re-watched scene of the episode! I can't stop looking at how Noah's hands are gripped around West, or how he basically straddles him. tinheart keeps showing me caps that make me babble like a silly idiot. I've already been bitten by a Noah/West bunny, too. What did this episode do to me? Jesus Christ!

"My fandom makes flying kinky."
Heee, yes! It's funny because it's true.

You would think in the last time he'll ever see his father, he would hug him.
You really would. I suppose I can see the maturation angle, the more somber Hiro they're going for this season post-time traveling, but it was sad that they didn't hug. They bowed to each, so, yeah, he did bow before walking off.

But, slash? Well, bring it on! Yet I support his marriage 110%I know, right? It makes no sense! I love him and Sandra, but I slash him just about every guy in sight, and I also totally 'ship Sandra/Haitian. But I could see the two ( ... )

Cristina Rose is just never-endingly wonderful as Angela. I can't believe how compelling she made that whole scene with Matt.

...why the heck does she "just want to be left alone"?
My thoughts exactly. What happened to her? Why is Angela so bent on protecting her? Why did she sound so fearful at someone finding Victoria?

Hahaha, and, yeah, and I think Matt and Mohinder really need each other right now, after all they've both been through. Matt needs Mohinder to remind him that, no, it's not moral to use compulsory suggestions on people, and Matt needs to comfort Mohinder about what he did.

...he managed to come around and be the good guy, only wanting to save Claire.I think it was his general good-intentioned-ness this episode that did it for me. And now I'm starting to think that maybe all his previous behavior was due to a lack of any proper socialization, much like Elle. I seems like it would explain quite a bit of it, down to the innocent intrusiveness he displayed all through his interactions with Claire ( ... )
