Pleasedon'tbebrightpleasedon'tbebright, runs her panicked line of thought, and a very faint glow issues within her fist as the Heart of Kandrakar materializes, a spherical crystal jewel in a strange metal pendant. Thus comforted by her shiny magical object's presence, Will breathes as quietly as possible and stays where she is, huddling against the wall, waiting for the sight of whatever's in the other hall, or the sound of retreating footsteps.

They're coming towards her.
The being that's making them appears soon. (Unless, of course, she runs before that.)
Glowing red ovals of light, with bright orange pupils seem to make up its eyes. Its face is cat-like, with protruding fangs. The rest of the beast is asymmetrically covered in dusty yellow fur or metal, coloured maroon, silver or black. Long grey blades are at its elbows, long claws from its paws, a grey hunk of metal on its hunched back.
When it notices her, the eyes dim and re-light, the ears perking forward.

Invisibility was one of the earliest tricks Will learned to do. She huddles in the shadows, curled around the Heart, trying to quiet the sound of her own more biological heart beating way too fast.
Animals are empathic to her feelings, and right now she's terrified and wants to run. Maybe she'll get lucky and this . . . whatever it is will make a break for it before Will gives into the desire herself.
