So, the first thing Will managed to do after finding herself in this weird, weird place was
pick a fight. Nice going, Will, she thinks to herself as she creeps along the hallways in her nasty veiny suit. Great way to start the day off.
But it's not like she said anything other than "I'm going to get home, and you can't tell me otherwise." There's always the possibility that this is some bizarre trick of some enemy or another and that Aelita was just a figment of her (or their) imagination meant to help break down her spirit. Will's not sure what exactly to believe is factual about this place yet - just that it's creepy, it's unsettling, and she wants to go home, since she's pretty sure she's already woken up. She's had some realistic dreams before, but in most of them, something has, at this point, tried to kill her.
All this translates into is a small, nervous-looking red-haired girl walking around and looking intimidated. Tiny, vulnerable, and alone.
It's like starting out in a new school. Only, there are fewer people Will's age and the decor is only slightly more depressing and if she's shunned by the popular kids, she might get eaten by aliens as well as left with no social life to speak of.
On the plus side, no history teachers. And especially no history teachers who are dating her mom. Will can live with that.
