For their current situation this is probably the decision that makes the most sense. I can also imagine that it takes off the pressure of other talents who are still struggling to come to a decision - if a major figure like Nino does it and proofs it goes without severing ties with EX-J&A, then they can go down this road too and not be called "egoistic" or "breaking up their bands". In that respect it's great to see how our favourite 17 yo grew into such a role model.
