I found my wedding ring taped to a 4 foot high inflatable penguin in the kitchen. Our rental flat at the time was just big enough to fit a 4 foot inflatable penguin and nothing much else, but we lived with it for quite a while.

Yay for long friendships! My 2 best friends and I have been "the collective idiot" for 14 years now -- it's because, while we can generally pretend to be competent adults on our own, we are pretty hopeless at being anything other than ridiculous and idiotic when gathered together. It's lovely. :)
