I find that being on the pill is more.. manageable for me. My period's are much less, bleeding wise, and for me that's a big plus. I find the whole bleeding part of it just.. it puts me off. I find that being on the pill lessens that hugely for me. My PMS is much less on the pill than it is off it, in past experience. I don't have as much cramping on the pill either.
However, there are other side affects. I find I have a slightly lower libido, and I would say that it may very well contribute to my migraines and possible other things.
But on the whole, I find it better to be on, than off. I would like to see some further developments and options for us though in the next few years. I remember reading something about a pill in India that off-set ovulation and your period differently.
I'm interested to see what happens over the next few months... not sure, but am trying it out. Not experiencing more pms, about the same. Less pain overall, but more constant. No change to libido. More general feelings of fuzzyness and no-brain effect.
