Gods could be too arrogant. Such was the case of SHODAN, who had turned the Pods into a nightmarish zone where she could freely amuse herself and torture those that had come here

Level 1 - Science and Medical Wing LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:00:20 UTC
The Hub, Medbay and Special Weapons Division would all need to be made into clear zones. SHODAN continued to send waves of robots into the Medbay to stop anyone from healing, but now that they knew how to stop the Power Dampers, it was just a question of finding it so they could fight back properly and not just with weapons...

Surprisingly enough, the Akashic possessed a certain measure of stealth when he had to. Like now, for example. He crouched behind a pile of rubble left at some point during the attack, teeth gritted against the growing pain in his back -- the damn wound was probably infected at this point.
All the more reason to snipe down the power dampener for this area as soon as possible. Only one problem with that. Try as he might, searching the air again and again... Morgan still was incredibly bad at spotting things.
Well, so much for subtlety. Morgan stepped out of cover as the battle droid raced past, hooking his ankle around its foot in what was -- let's face it -- a lowbrow but highly-effective trip. As it went down he drew one of his swords from its backscabbard, then rammed it neatly into a gap in the droid's armor.
"And here I thought I had met all the ponies on the ship," he said.
Level 2 - Pod LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:02:00 UTC
The Pod Level was already secure, thankfully. However, there were still things to do here, clear the robot debris (there was a lot of it), continue to keep the place safe and...removing the poor people who had died during SHODAN's butchering.

Level 3 - Armory LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:04:21 UTC
A source of hope during most of the battles thanks to the weapons that had been shared by all, it was just a question of finding that little tiny power damper and destroying it.
There were just some robots in the way...

Orochimaru might have been a statue in the shadows for how silently and still he kept himself. Even his breathing seemed muted. Occasionally, just maybe once in a while, a ninja could behave in a stealthy manner.
Hawke, though less subtle than Orochimaru, was certainly quiet enough as he stalked the armory, dispatching robots as he went. The last thing he wanted was for the enemy to gain access to more weapons, power dampeners or no power dampeners.
He did not, unfortunately, realize that he was not alone.
That's fine. Draw them out. Keep them from noticing the ninja...
The first sign he offered of his presence was a blur of motion. A kunai knife shot through the air, slamming into the little power dampener node as it drifted near the ceiling, trying to hide itself and still perform its duties.
"That's better," he said, stepping out of hiding without fear as he dusted his hands off.
Level 4 - City LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:05:50 UTC
The City was huge and wide. There were many power dampers and it might take time to undo them all. Crewmen scrambled from one area into another, sometimes powered up by the ones that had been cleared, sometimes suddenly finding themselves powerless again.
It was going to make for an interesting battle--hey what was that sound of bells in the air?

After her whole affair with Splicer and seeing the pod deaths, she just wanted to kick SHODAN's ass no matter what. Mitochondria powers or not, Aya had a crowbar in one hand and her gun in the other. That plus the grenades around her belt meant that she was going to find as many power dampers around The City as she could and use pure brute force to disable them. And hopefully collect something that was like scalped robot skulls as keepsakes.
Aya spotted one of the power dampers. Or what seemed to be it anyway. She raised the crowbar over her head and with an all mighty clang, just began thrashing it as best as she could.
"Allow me, mamzel." A huge, growling voice that sounds rather metallic itself is approaching Aya from behind, coming from a black-armored man with scarred armor, a HUGE sword, and a significantly large pistol as well. The being itself stands some 8 feet tall, and looks pretty mechanical too, but it doesn't hold itself like any of the robots she's seen thus far. And there is a pugnacious stance to the being, even the war-robots don't spoil for a fight quite as much as a hot-blooded (and sometimes thick skulled) Son of Dorn.
The guy had a bigger sword. She stepped aside to give the stranger a clear pathway to the core of the power damper. Aya had taken off some of the outer shell with the crowbar. SHODAN didn't make these things particularly easy to destroy, but she didn't care at this point. She was going to destroy them.
Level 5 - Living Area/Command Deck LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:07:32 UTC
There were many places here to secure, each with a very diffence levels of importance. Crewmen went to the most vital first, but eventuall all of the areas would get restored; The Art Hall, Bathrooms, Command Deck, Crew Quarters, Engineering Core, Hydroponics, Media Library, Mess Hall, Neuropathy, Obs Deck, the Sensoriums, Sleeping Halls, the Spacewalk, The Tapestry Room.
SHODAN knew this level was important and kept the strongest robots patrolling.

The word was out, and so was Ash. He an his Pokemon quickly moved to take out the dampeners, and when the melee-users clawed through one, the surrounding robots got taste of high-voltage power and hot, searing flame, among other things.
'Vadum had pushed through down from hanger level and into the living areas not long before, having left a number behind to hold the Hanger against further threats as he moved forth down into the corridors that made up the general living quarters.
Plasma rifles in each hand, strobes of blue of plasma bolts arching at any robot unfortunate enough to get in his way. Holstered at his thigh armor his energy swords waited ready for use should targets get too close or his rifles run out of charge.
His goals and focus was clear, to secure the Command Deck and destroy any construct that got in his path.

She wanted to be where the action was. Between injuring her leg, seeing her dad die, going a little crazy, making sure Beastboy was able to recover and helping the Overlord, one would have thought this was enough. These were taxing things, and there was only so much that a hero could do.
But Hit Girl didn't say die, and she sure as hell didn't back down from a fight.
With the Overlord in tow, she gazed at the enemies. No match for the Daleks, she knew that much, but MORE than a match for the shark robots and the SAINTS. She looked over at the Overlord.
"If you wanna take down those overgrown trash compactors, be my guest. I'm going for those other guys."

He could, if need be, wait like this for hours.
