Locked to Yukio

The sensoriums.... looked like a very boring room. He looked around curiously for a long time before simply sitting down to wait for Yukio.

Blackie hopped off his shoulder and ran around Rin to look up at him.

Rin, Rin! Do you have any idea why Yukio called us here?

"Hm, not really... But it must be important..... It better be important cause I'm hungry."

Yukio showed up as promised, clad in the usual exorcist's coat with accessories, weapons and all. Not long after their meeting with the crew, he'd taken the information provided to him by Jr. and made his rounds to the various places aboard the ship. After a bit of searching and watching the traffic of various locations, he'd settled on the sensoriums as the best place to relay to Rin the full details of their stay on Stacy.

The chastising and berating over the comm hadn't bothered the teen one bit--if they were fully aware of what Rin was capable of, they would have thought it better to wait a few days (or four sleep cycles, as he was now counting it). Better to keep his brother in the dark for a bit than have him injure or kill some unaware crewman.

"Nii-san," Yukio called to his brother as he walked up behind him. He took a seat beside the older twin and looked up towards the plain room. "You didn't want to change the surroundings?"

Blackie greeted Yukio first, jumping on the teens shoulder and mewing once.

Rin looked towards him and gave him a curious look before looking around the room quickly. "You can do that?!" Clearly he wasn't paying attention to what anyone was saying while they were talking to his brother.

He scratched behind the cat's ear and under its chin, glad that Blackie was in a good mood despite the changes. He didn't expect that to last long, but he was hoping for the familiar's cooperation should anything get out of hand.

Yukio sighed lightly and gave his brother a look that was none-too-impressed. "Yes, nii-san. Jr. and Kanoe-san explained it to us in full detail. Try to retain some information of these important things."

Simon didn't see it as much as he'd felt it - he'd been exploring a bit when the wall came down.

It took him a moment to get up and stagger out in the street to see Rin walking away rather quickly.

"HEY BUDDY, WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!"

Rin stopped abruptly and looked back. Maybe he hadn't seen him?

"What are you talking about.. h-heh..."

Simon ruffled his hair, knocking dust and bits of sheetrock out of it. "Someone just brought down a whole wall on my head, and you're the only person I see!"

"It's an old building inside some chick! This shit's bound to be fragile! The hell would I do that for anyways?!"

Maybe cause you were mad and frustrated and needed something to slam against and forgot that you very ridiculously strong.

Why. Why did people always break the City. First Sakura, then Howard, and now that new guy. Or at least he figured it was Rin, judging by the way he was high-tailing it out away from the shattered wall.

"Try not to cause any serious damage, please. Some of the buildings are already unstable."

Plus, little Duos ran around in them sometimes.

It's that guy again! The one's who's as serious as Yukio... better not get this too serious.

"I wasn't trying to. I just... It just happened, I'll get to fixing it."

Someday. Just not today... he didn't have the drive to do much of anything.

"Okay, well, just try not to do it again. It was probably falling apart, anyway." Zouichi noticed the change in Rin's behavior from earlier (to be fair, he'd have to be incredibly oblivious not to).

"Did something happen? You seem... a lot more subdued."

Subdued? What was it with people like him and Yukio? Couldn't they use cooler words?

"Life happened I guess. But I'm sure you know allll about that."

Because it was people like him who knew things... he was sure he'd be up to date if he would stop being... himself and being a bit more responsible. Maybe then he wouldn't be such a burden to Yukio.

Atom heard the noise of the wall shattering and was in the air in a flash, touching down in the area as Rin was walking away.

"Hey, what's going on? Did someone get hurt?"

Where'd this kid come from?

"No. Not that I saw. One of the walls just collapsed."

That was his story and he would stick to it!

He eyed Atom with a raised brow, "What's a kid doing out here anyways? Not that I think it's dangerous I just... I didn't think there'd be kids on board."

Well, heck, Rin had already seen him fly. "I'm not a kid... I'm a robot. Atom. Tetsuwan Atom."

Rin's behavior was a little bit suspicious, but he let it go for now. "But it is dangerous, isn't it? Or else we wouldn't need Security."

"A robot? A kid robot? Wait, like in those mangas and video games?!"

Okay, aliens, other dimensions, all these races and robots. Yeah, if it hadn't been for Yukio's explanation, he would have thought he was still dreaming.

"Err, I'm Rin... Okumura Rin. And I haven't seen anything dangerous yet," Other than self collapsing buildings! "But I guess security's necessary regardless of where you go."

"Woah. I know a guy back home who can do that."

Jr. totally saw Rin do that. But for him it was pretty standard stuff when it came to strength, so he just mentally shrugged it off.

Where did he pop up from?! And he was sure he couldn't mistake that hair, that was definitely the guy who gave Yukio all that information... How could he have been acting so calm back then... If he's been here all this time....

Rin first made to ignore him, continuing to walk for a few moments before stopping, then looking back over his shoulder at Jr.

"How do you do it...?"

Well he was sure acting different than when Jr. had first met him. He blinked once, looking confused by the question.

"Do what?"

"Be like that. Calm and friendly... knowing everything that happened... is happening..."

He didn't know how to explain it. Rin was feeling as if the whole world had been placed on his shoulders and then some. And all these people kept acting so chill... Maybe they had been here far longer than he thought, maybe come to terms with things.
