Rin's arrival unto Stacy had been well received for the most part. He easily overlooked things, didn't notice others, and his usual naive/oblivious demeanor kept him unfocused and uninterested as far as the details of their current predicament were. To him, this just seemed like a weird, new themed attraction, then he learned that they were in some ( Read more... )

"Woah. I know a guy back home who can do that."

Jr. totally saw Rin do that. But for him it was pretty standard stuff when it came to strength, so he just mentally shrugged it off.

Where did he pop up from?! And he was sure he couldn't mistake that hair, that was definitely the guy who gave Yukio all that information... How could he have been acting so calm back then... If he's been here all this time....

Rin first made to ignore him, continuing to walk for a few moments before stopping, then looking back over his shoulder at Jr.

"How do you do it...?"

Well he was sure acting different than when Jr. had first met him. He blinked once, looking confused by the question.

"Do what?"

"Be like that. Calm and friendly... knowing everything that happened... is happening..."

He didn't know how to explain it. Rin was feeling as if the whole world had been placed on his shoulders and then some. And all these people kept acting so chill... Maybe they had been here far longer than he thought, maybe come to terms with things.

Jr. recalled Yukio's request about that ... he guessed he must have told him about everything, judging by Rin's attitude. Even if his brother put it lightly, he still didn't seem to be taking it well. The red-head wondered if anything he said would end up helping.

"I can't speak for anyone else, but me? I figure what else can I do, like this?" Jr, shrugged lightly.

Rin didn't like that he was right. He hated not having the option to change it all NOW... to get back what was so wrongly taken from them... but Jr. was right, and not only that, he had been in this fucked up mess for gods knew how much longer than he.

"I don't... I don't want to accept that but, you're right." he said somberly.

"None of us wanna accept it," he said. Jr. didn't want to accept a lot of things that he couldn't deny. "But-- well, it sucks. But as far as we know, there's nothing else we can do right now."

"We survived." he said with a clear voice, looking up with a slowly rising smirk. "We survived and we'll be getting our worlds back! All we have to do is work together right?!"

It was easy for Rin to find focus on something and go for it. It was the things that dwell deep that he tries to suppress.

That was a quick change in attitude. But at least it was a slightly more optimistic and less mopey one; Jr. smiled back at him.

"That's the hope, at any rate! Doing the best we can to figure out everything that's going on and what we can do to help make it all right again."

"Right, then I know what I need to do. I just need to keep training and get stronger for when these Hom show up, I can really kick their ass!"

One track mind. He has it.
