In his usual daily trek through the City, Hana hears the distinct beat of music. It's faint and he spends a little time running around, trying to find its source.
He finds the street but looks all around him, still confused. Eventually, he recognizes it's on a rooftop. Instead of doing the logical thing and heading inside the building to use the stairs, Hana spots the fire escape and begins scaling the old construct of metal bars.
Finally, his hands grip the edge of the roof and he hauls himself up, peering over the ledge, immediately spotting the pink haired girl. He raises a single hand, the other arm supporting him over the edge preciously, the fake wind ruffling the mass of blonde hair around his head. "Yo."
Jinx blinked and sat up in her pool to peer at the boy from behind a pair of cheap sunglasses.
"Uh...yo." She answered back raising a hand in mimic of him. She would have thought she'd have heard someone coming, but she'd been too relaxed, and Hana wasn't exactly loud...this time anyway.
That's all about to change as he pulls himself completely over, clambering up onto the roof. Brushing himself down, he leans backward, peering over his shoulder down at the way he'd just scaled the building. He gives a self-confident giggle for the accomplishment before jogging over to Jinx, looking at the music player.
Surveying the view around them, he grins at her with a catching smile and light filled eyes. "Nice spot." Nods his head towards the player. "And nice song."
"Thanks." She settled back into her pool, long legs stretched out, feet poking out at the edge, "It seems to be a little bit of everything. Keeps it interesting." He wasn't bugging her yet so Jinx was suspending her rule about talking to people she considered "Kids"
How about a young, half orc girl crashing on the roof nearby as she's bounding from building to building on one of her routine training sessions?
Ronnae sped off almost as soon as she landed with a resounding thunder clap. Rushing to the edge of the building that Jinx was on so she could jump to the next one.
It took a split second for Ronnae to notice the odd girl she had met sometime earlier, but she couldn't stop, not at that moment. So instead, she lept, crashed on the side of the building and made a wall jump back onto the previous building and landed with another thunder clap.
She stood up once more, wiping her hands clean of the dust that had gathered on them and looked over to the girl curiously, giving her a small wave. She was still recovering from her last injury, still sporting the eye patch over her right eye, but it wouldn't be much longer till her eye healed completely thanks to her regen.
Jinx had been drifting off when the noise startled her. With a linefaced stare at Ronnae she waited till the girl came back before asking her as cool as can be. "Can I help you?"
"Oh, ah, n-no actually I came to see if you needed h-help..." she looked around, now being able to get a better look of the area and... Yeah now she felt stupid.
"But it looks like y-you were jus' relaxin'... I ah... s-sorry to have bothered ya."
"Not a bother." She put a soothing lilt in her voice and examined Ronnae up and down, "Is it really that clever an idea to be jumping from roof to roof when you've got that patch on your eye?" As a frequent traveler of the "The Rooftop Express" she understood how important depth perception was.
Zouichi was busy vaulting from building to building in the City; Tim had introduced him to the idea, and though he didn't traditionally travel around on foot during his missions, he found this method of getting around... interesting. There were sights you could see on the rooftops that you couldn't see from the ground. Plus, it never hurt to have more than one way of navigating an area.
He cleared the gaps between the buildings with ease, even the longer jumps, which for a human would be impossible without proper tools (like, say, a grappling line to swing from), but stopped as he landed on the building Jinx was occupying. "Hello," he said, giving her kiddy pool a curious once-over. "I don't believe we've ever met before."
Jinx opened an eye and lowered her glasses peering at him, "It's a big ship." She remarked back, "And I'm still fairly new." Always cautious when entering conversation with new people. Who knew just what front she had to bring forth.
"Oh this, That girl with the afro, Lash had it in her shop." she left out the part where she was now beholden to asking how high if Lash said jump till her bill was paid off.
"And my name is Jinx." she added nonchalantly, no sense in stopping her nice peaceful afternoon...or was it evening? Time was such a strange thing around the ship.
It had been fun, staying as Mindy for awhile, but now she was back as Hit girl, and happy for it: she could only stay as a regular girl for so long without feeling pent up. For the moment, she was taking a jog around the city, making sure she stayed fit. She had been in enough situations with the missions to want to make sure she kept up her speed.
And here, she came across one of the most interesting characters she watched: it was Jinx, that girl villain from Teen Titans. She had always though she was just an excuse for T and A for stupid male villains at first, but she'd gradually started to like her just because she was slick and hard to place. Plus, she was a bit of a deviant, the sort of person Mindy was discovering she was totally fine with.
She slowed her running, then walked over to Jinx. She was, of course, quick and quiet footed as usual: you learned to do that after years of training, after all.
"Hey," she said. "Didn't know how people managed to get their own players."
"There's a machine that let's you check them out." Jinx responded dryly not glancing at Hit Girl right away. She was relaxed and now that she was at least 50% sure this person wasn't a violent sociopath she was inclined to remain relaxed instead of get ready for an attack.
"Oh. Ought to give that a shot." Hit girl didn't know why, but it felt strange to come across someone from the comics just relaxing. It made her curious about what she was thinking.
"Can't help but notice the kiddy pool. There's a real one actually, in the hotel in the city. The water girl is supposed to keep it near immaculate, so it should be pretty clean."
"I hadn't heard that." She shot back crossing her long perfectly cared for legs and stretched out like a content cat. "This one is nice and portable though. Delightfully private."

"Kanoe Zouichi," he said, by way of introduction, then added, "Zouichi's fine. May I ask where you found the pool?"
It was the kind of thing Howard would be interested in.

That wasn't a hint, just a point.
